1. Introduction

Welcome to the World Youth Festival 2025 Nepal ("the Festival"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Festival, organized by the District Coordination Committee, Kavrepalanchok ("the Organizer"). By registering for, attending, or participating in the Festival, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• The Festival is open to individuals aged 15 and above.
• Participants under 18 must provide parental or legal guardian consent.
• Attendees must comply with all local laws and regulations.

3. Registration and Tickets

• All attendees must register through the official Festival website or authorized partners.
• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except in cases of event cancellation.
• The Organizer reserves the right to deny admission to any individual without providing a reason.
• In cases of medical emergencies such as hospitalization, severe illness, surgery, or infectious diseases preventing attendance, a 50% refund may be granted upon submission of valid medical documentation, subject to the Organizer’s approval.

4. Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe and inclusive environment, attendees must:

• Treat all individuals with respect, regardless of nationality, gender, religion, or background.
• Avoid disruptive behavior, including violence, harassment, discrimination, or illegal activities.
• Follow instructions from Festival staff and security personnel.
• Not bring prohibited items such as weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials.

5. Event Schedule and Changes

• The Organizer reserves the right to modify the schedule, venue, speakers, or performances without prior notice.
• No compensation will be provided for changes or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, health emergencies).

6. Intellectual Property and Media Rights

• By attending, you grant the Organizer permission to capture, record, and use your likeness for promotional and marketing purposes.
• Unauthorized commercial photography, videography, or broadcasting is prohibited.
• Festival content, including logos, artwork, and materials, is protected under intellectual property laws.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

• Attendees participate at their own risk.
• The Organizer is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property.
• The Festival may include physically demanding activities; participants must assess their fitness and take necessary precautions.

8. Health and Safety

• Attendees must adhere to health and safety guidelines issued by local authorities.
• Medical assistance will be available, but attendees are responsible for their own health and medication needs.

9. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Refunds will only be issued if the Festival is canceled by the Organizer.
• No refunds for voluntary withdrawals or failure to attend.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
• Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nepal.
