The biggest hackathon festival – Hack Fest to be organized to bring together students and experts in from across Nepal in various IT sectors to: :
Connect the talents for Digital Transformation.
Enable platforms for Solutions for Digital Nepal.
Enhance the collaboration between Industry and Academia
Empower the ICT professionals, students, and experts.
Tech Domains:
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML)
Internet of Things (IoT) & Smart Sensors
Blockchain & Decentralized Systems
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) & Remote Sensing
Augmented Reality (AR) & Virtual Reality (VR)
Core Tech Stack Across All Domains and theme
Frontend: React.js / Next.js (for web), Flutter / React Native (for mobile)
Backend: Node.js (Express.js) / Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Database: PostgreSQL (relational), Firebase (for rapid prototyping), MongoDB (for NoSQL needs)
APIs & Integrations: Google Maps API, Twilio, OpenAI API, Stripe (for payments) DevOps & CI/CD: Docker, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes (for scaling)
Participant Criteria:
Must have registered for World Youth Festival Event. Either of the package holders are eligible.
All participants must be under 30 years of age
Teams of max 4 members (at least 1 female member encouraged)
Must be students, experts, professionals in Nepal's tech sector
Solutions must align with at least one hackathon theme
